Independence Police arrested Jerome M Middaugh, age 48 of
Whitesville, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more and obstructed
vehicle registration plate. The charges stem from a traffic stop on the Main
Street in the Town of Independence. Middaugh was processed, issued an
appearance ticket and released to a third party. Middaugh is due to appear in
Town of Independence Court on January 3, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.

Independence Police arrested Mark A Farmer, age 27 of
Whitesville, NY, charging him with Speed not reasonable or prudent and AUO 3rd
(Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd). The charges stem from a one car motor
vehicle accident on the Hallsport Road in the Town of Independence. Farmer was
issued traffic citations and released. Farmer is due to appear in Independence
Town Court on January 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
