CANEADEA, NY- Congressman Tom Reed announced that United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has approved a loan for $169,000.00 with an accompanying grant for $22,000.00 to the Town of Caneadea for a new snow plow truck.
“It is important to make sure that communities in our district have the funds and equipment necessary to maintain their infrastructure. This new truck will help ensure travel safety for the more than 2,500 residents of Caneadea,” Reed said.
The loan and grant will help the town replace its existing 2006 truck that has become unreliable with a new 2018 Mack 10 wheeler truck with snow plow and dump body.
