Voters to decide if Scio gets a new fire engine

Voters will decide next month if the Scio Fire Department can purchase a new 2017 pumper fire truck to be used by Scio Fire Department Company 1 (not to exceed $410,000). The Board of Fire Commissioners authorized the vote. The referendum will be held November 14th at the Scio Community Building. Voting will take place between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. A copy of the full text of the proposition is available at the Community Building during regular business hours.
