Krystal Lynn Howard “beloved and
sadly missed”
COUDERSPORT---Krystal Lynn Howard, 31, of Coudersport, died
in her home on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
Born on August 11, 1986 in Wellsville, N.Y., she was a
daughter of Daniel E. and Linda K. McDowell Brownell.
Krystal was a graduate of Wellsville High School and
attended college in Williamsport. She
formerly had been employed by Howard’s Inc. in Coudersport. At the time of her death, she was employed as
the insurance verification representative at Cole Memorial Hospital in
Coudersport and had previously held other managerial positions at the hospital.
She had formerly served as the secretary of the Potter
County Snowmobile Club in Coudersport.
She enjoyed snowmobile racing, of which she excelled. Krystal was an assistant coach for her son
Duke’s Tee Ball team and had previously served as an assistant coach for her
son Dylan’s soccer team. She enjoyed
jogging. She loved her dogs, Bella and Paris, but her greatest love was her
family, especially her two sons, Dylan and Duke.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Wellsville, N.Y. are
her two beloved sons, Dylan W. Howard and Daniel D. “Duke” Howard, both at
home; her sister, Kay C. (Andy) Middaugh of Friendship, N.Y.; her former
husband, Christopher W. Howard of Coudersport; and several aunts, uncles, and
cousins.
Krystal was predeceased by her maternal and paternal
grandparents.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of
Krystal’s life beginning at 12 noon on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Willing
Volunteer Fire Department, Route 19, Willing, N.Y.
Flowers are gratefully declined and memorials in Krystal’s
name may be made to Joyful Rescues, 1319 Turock Drive, Cuba, NY 14727 or to an
SPCA or shelter serving animals in need.
