Truck carrying five crashes in Ceres Township

A Dodge Ram 1500 carrying five people crashed at 4:30 p.m. on PA-44 in Ceres Township. State police said luckily, no injuries were reported. According to troopers, Kirsten Allen, 16, of Middlebury Center was traveling west when she lost control of the truck at a curve, went off the road and struck an embankment. She was charged with a speeding violation. Passengers in the vehicle included

  3. Louann Kennedy, 50, Middlebury Center
  4. A female, age 12, Middlebury Center.
State police said the truck sustained disabling damage. Shinglehouse Fire, EMS and Police assisted at the scene.
