Wellsville Police arrested Dennis J. Norman Jr, age 27 and
Mary E. Cornell, age 30, both of Wellsville, charging them with Unlawful
Manufacture of Methamphetamine 3rd (Class D Felony), Unlawful Disposal of
Methamphetamine Laboratory Material (Class E Felony), Conspiracy 5th and
Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The
charges stem from an incident that took place at a Maple Avenue residence where
a Methamphetamine Lab was allegedly discovered.
Norman and Cornell were transported from the Allegany County Jail and
arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor. Norman and Cornell were both returned to the
Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail each or $20,000.00 Property
Bond. Norman and Cornell are due back in
Wellsville Village Court on April 18th at 4:30 p.m. Wellsville Police were assisted by New York
State Police CCSERT, Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, New York State
Police C-NET, New York State Parole and the Allegany County Probation
Department. Additional charges are
pending as Wellsville Police continue their investigation.
