Maple City Physical Therapy announces new Andover location UPDATED

L-R: Bittel, O'Brien
Maple City Physical Therapy (MCPT), which currently calls the City of Hornell home, will soon expand to Andover in Allegany County. That announcement came early this morning from Jeremy Bittel, one of the owners of MCPT. Bittel said the new location is expected to open April 3. In a message to Wellsville Regional News, Bittel said the company is "looking forward to serving Allegany County for years to come." Megan O'Brien, another owner, said this morning the service will be located at 2 South Main Street in Andover, the former Andover Dental practice. O'Brien said they started looking to expand about six months ago and they were greeted warmly by the Andover community. MCPT currently serves many Allegany County patients at the Hornell office and the new location "should make it easier" for patients. While the Andover location will initially operate will a slightly "scaled down" number of days, O'Brien said it will definitely include at least one day with evening hours. As far as equipment, O'Brien says the Andover location will have the same physical therapy equipment that's in Hornell, but it will be "all brand new." Both Bittel and O'Brien said this morning they are "very happy" about the expansion into Allegany County and look forward to meeting the needs of patients. The Andover location will begin with 2-3 employees, but that number could grow as the practice grows to new levels. Office hours could also expand as the company continues its robust development.
