An overnight two-alarm fire damaged a home at 1710 Sunnyside
road in Shinglehouse. Firefighters were called to the Kellogg residence at
10:33 p.m. Sunday. Extra equipment was
called in from Portville, Bolivar, Alma, Coudersport and Westons Mills. The
flames were brought under control in about an hour. The fire was out shortly
after 1 a.m. Monday. No word on the cause.
