Born March 1, 1946, in Oneida, NY, she was raised by her
adoptive parents Lester and Ann Labow Seekings of Mayville. On June 8, 1968, in Mayville, NY, she married
Quentin A. Gamble, who predeceased her on March 2, 2017. A 1965 graduate of Mayville High School, she
attended beauty school in Olean. Bonnie
and her husband operated a dairy farm in Mayville for five years and owned and
operated a dairy farm in Forestville, NY for 17 years. She also worked as a caregiver for many
years. Bonnie and Quentin moved to
Brookland in 1997 and built their retirement home. She was a member of the Christian &
Missionary Alliance Church in Harrison Valley and the Gerry Free Methodist
Church.
Surviving are:
cousins, including Florence Dotson of Mayville; a sister-in-law, Phyllis (Alan) Scardina of
Winston-Salem, NC; a brother-in-law,
Darrell (Patti) Gamble of Brookland; and
two generations of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Brookland. Memorials may be made to Christian &
Missionary Alliance Church Missions Fund, 217 E. Main St., Harrison Valley, PA
16927.
