Steuben County Sheriff's Blotter

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that from January 23 - 25, 2021, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested the following for DWI or DWAI related offenses.

January 23, 2021, Cindy K. Buck, age 57, of County Route 125, Campbell, New York, following a traffic stop on County Route 125, Campbell, New York.  It is alleged that Ms. Buck operated a vehicle in an intoxicated condition, swerved over the center line several times and was drinking an alcoholic beverage while driving.  Ms. Buck was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%, Fail to Keep Right and Consuming an Alcoholic Beverage While Driving.  Ms. Buck was released on traffic summons to appear in the Town of Campbell Court at a later date.

January 24, 2021, Brandon M. Wilcox, age 21, of Redwood Circle, Painted Post, New York, following a traffic stop on Meads Creek Road, Town of Erwin, New York.  It is alleged that Mr. Wilcox operated a vehicle in an impaired condition due to drug use, was speeding and while his license or operating privileges in New York State was suspended or revoked.  Mr. Wilcox was charged with Driving While Ability is Impaired due to Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle in the Third Degree and Speed in Zone.  Mr. Wilcox was released on traffic summons to appear in Erwin Town Court at a later date.

January 25, 2021, Kory L. Partridge, age 41, of South Main Street, Avoca, New York, following the investigation of a report of a crashed vehicle with an injured, unresponsive operator on Liberty Street, Hammondsport, New York initially investigated on January 3, 2021.  It is alleged that Mr. Partridge operated a vehicle while both intoxicated and impaired due to drug use.  It is further alleged that Mr. Partridge illegally possessed both marijuana and non-prescribed narcotics, and that Mr. Partridge struck a shed and a garage on State Route 54A prior to coming to rest.  Mr. Partridge received medical treatment at the scene and at a medical facility.  Mr. Partridge was arrested and charged on January 25, 2021, for Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony, Driving While Intoxicated and Impaired due to Drug Use, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Moved from Lane Unsafely, Fail to Keep Right, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Collision, No/One Headlight and No Front License Plate.  Sheriff Allard thanks the NYS Police for their assistance in this investigation.
