COVID-19 coronavirus cases continue to surge across the region. Between Wednesday and Thursday, there were 10 more positive tests and two more fatalities in Potter County. Among the positive tests, four were from the Coudersport area, two from Galeton, and one each from Ulysses, Genesee, Roulette and Shinglehouse. Potter County now has an “active” case count in excess of 150, meaning that the victims tested positive over the last 14 days. Approximately 90 of those are residents of the Coudersport area.
