The Department of Public Works is currently finishing the first round of pickup of leaves in the Village of Andover. We will begin a second round of Village-wide leaf collection starting Monday, November 16 and ending November 20th 2020. Please keep in mind it takes approximately a full week to do a full circuit of the Village.
Leaves only (no tree limbs, branches, ornamental grass, or
potted plants) The order of collection for said debris will be NOT be picked up
from December 1, 2020 – April 1st 2021 with the exception of Christmas trees of
two separate dates of December 28, 2020 and January 15th 2021. If after that
time trees need to discarded you can sign out a dump key at the village office
during work hours noted on the website.
The public should refrain from parking vehicles on such
streets anticipating a collection. The Village will make every attempt to
perform a second round of collection to get as many leaves picked up as
possible. However, we make no guarantee that will be able to happen before the
weather changes so the public is encouraged NOT to place more leaves in the
roadway after the first collection has been finished as doing so can interfere
with drainage and plowing operations.
