Wellsville Police arrested Phillip H. Fanton, age 76 of Scio, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more, Speed not reasonable & Prudent, Moved from lane unsafely and Leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident. The charges stem from a one car motor vehicle accident that took place on Farnum Street, where Fanton’s vehicle left the roadway striking property in the lawn of a Farnum Street home. Fanton was located on North Hill Road and taken into custody. He was processed issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party. Fanton is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 12th at 4:30 p.m.

State Street in the Village of Wellsville.
