FRIENDSHIP - Danny E. Densmore, 72, of 73 E. Main Street
passed away on Saturday October 12, 2019 at Jones Memorial Hospital in
Wellsville. He was born February 9, 1947 in Wellsville, the son of the late
Carl Franklin and Lois Elaine (Robbins) Densmore Sr. On June 24, 1995 in
Portville he married Carol G. Rednour who survives.
Danny was raised in Andover and was a graduate of Andover
High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam, and at Fort
Campbell, KY. He was formerly employed
at Mapes Furniture in Wellsville, the Erie Lackawanna Railroad, and retired
from American-Olean Tile in Olean. He was a former member of the Portville VFW.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Amanda
Densmore of Friendship, a son, Greg Densmore of Bradford, PA, 10 siblings, Carl
F. Densmore, Calvin J. (Barbara) Densmore, Charles F. (Sherry) Densmore, Claude
B. (Cindy) Densmore, Janice I. (Jerry) Colburn, Cleon G. (Joan) Densmore,
Jeanette I. (Earl) Stonemetz, Cabot J. Densmore, Judy J. (Brian) Cole, and
Cameron D. Densmore, a sister-in-law, Sherry Densmore, several nieces and nephews, his loving dog,
Lulu and his cat, Kali. He was predeceased by a brother, Clair W. Densmore.
Friends are invited to a graveside service with military
honors on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Hallsport Union Cemetery.
