Leaf collection in Wellsville begins

Leaf collection has begun in Wellsville. DPW Director Bill Whitfield told the village board Monday night that crews are patrolling the village. Leaves should be raked to the curb, but not into the street. Bagged leaves will also be accepted. Whitfield said he expected the collection pace to ramp up within two weeks.
