10/20/19 12:40pm- State Police arrested Kody Cavalier, 21, of Alfred. He was taken into custody on Pleasant Valley Road and charged with felony assault with intent to cause serious physical injury and preventing an emergency call.
State Police Public Information Officer Trooper James O'Callaghan said the arrest followed a domestic dispute in which Cavalier allegedly struck a woman multiple times in the head and face. He then allegedly grabbed the cell phone to prevent the victim from dialing 911. The victim was treated at Jones Memorial Hospital. Cavalier was released on a court appearance ticket for Alfred Court on October 30th.
