Wellsville Police Blotter

Wellsville Police arrested Tonya A. Schlenker, age 40 of Wellsville, charging her with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more, Aggravated DWI w/BAC of .18% or more, Moved from Lane Unsafely and Failure to Keep Right.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on East Dyke Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Schlenker was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party.  Schlenker is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 11th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Dillon S. Ayers, age 23 of Wellsville, charging him with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd and Harassment 2nd.  The charges stem from an incident that took place on North Main Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Ayers was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice O’Connor.  Ayers was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $250.00 cash bail.  Ayers is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested Coty J. Denning, age 24 of Belmont, for failure to appear in Court on a previous AUO 3rd and other V&T charges.  Denning was located by the New York State Police and transported to Wellsville.  Denning was processed and arraigned before Independence Town Justice Howe.  Denning paid $250.00 cash bail and was released.  Denning is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 14th at 4:30 pm.
