NEWS from Allegany County Board of Elections

The Allegany County Board of Elections wants to remind residents that the deadline to
register to vote for the June 25, 2019, primary election is May 31, 2019.
Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked by midnight, May 31st and received
by a Board of Elections no later than June 5, 2019 to be valid for the upcoming Primary
election.
 Residents wanting to register in-person may do so at our office at 6 Schuyler St Belmont
NY 14813; this must done no later than May 31, 2019.
You may also register at the Department of Motor Vehicles website (MyDMV) no later than
May 31, as long as you have a NYS Drivers License, non-driver ID Card or Learner's
Permit.

The form must be mailed or dropped off with the same requirements as stated above.
You can also register or find forms at your local Town Clerk Office & Post Office.
If you are 17 years old and you will be 18 before the end of the calendar year, you can
pre-register now. You will be eligible to vote in any election that occurs on or after your

18th birthday.

Democrat & Republican- Town Councilman (2 seats)

Town of Amity:
Republican Only- Town Justice (1 seat) & Superintendent of Highways (1 seat)

Village of Angelica:
Republican Only-Village Trustee (2 seats)
