Smoke investigation at Acorn Market in Genesee, PA

A two-alarm fire sent crews and equipment from two states to the Acorn Market on North Genesee Street in Genesee, Pennsylvania during the noon-hour today. Radio reports said smoke was showing when the first unit arrived at the scene. Additional help was quickly called in from Ulysses and Whitesville. Wellsville stood by in Willing.  "Masked men" were called to the scene and a water fill site was also established. By 2 p.m. units had left the scene and returned to service. When contacted by WRN, the Genesee Fire Chief confirmed the alarm was at Acorn, but quickly added "I have no other comment at this time."
