Allegany County may purchase 'tourism trailer'

When the Allegany County Legislature convenes Monday afternoon (4/8/19), it will vote on a resolution that will help purchase a tourism trailer. The county won't be spending any new money but rather it will shift existing funds around. The plan before lawmakers is to approve a budget transfer within the 2019 tourism budget. The resolution calls for moving $4,050 from the tourism economic opportunity and development account to the tourism equipment account. The plan is offered by the Planning & Economic Development and Ways & Means Committees.
