On Monday, December 10th, at approximately 1:50 p.m. following a lengthy investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics in the Town of Cuba, Cuba Police arrested Kevin J. Green (A.K.A. Bear, 39, of Cuba) on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell 3rd (Felony, 4 counts) and criminal sale of controlled substance 3rd ( Felony, 4 counts). Green was processed and placed in front of a Town Justice and sent to the Allegany County Jail on $25,000.00 bail. These charges stem from the alleged sale of a dangerous combination of fentanyl mixed with heroin in the Town of Cuba. Cuba Police were assisted by the New York State Police, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and CNET ( Community Narcotics Enforcement Team). Green is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. More arrests are pending as this investigation is ongoing.
