There was some unusually interesting information in the monthly report to the Allegany County Public Safety Committee, filed by Allegany Sheriff Rick Whitney. According to the report -
"On January 16 our CERT Team (Corrections Emergency Response Team) conducted a facility ‘shakedown.’ 57 Inmates were double locked for minor rule violations and two inmates were arrested (one for damaging county property and one for contraband)."
