Linda married Willard Schram on June 13, 1970 in Bolivar,
Mr. Schram survives. Linda was a graduate of the Richburg Central School class
of 1967. She received Associate degree in Nursing from the Sonyea School of
Nursing, and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Buffalo State
College. Linda started her nursing career as head nurse at the Dermott
Pediatric Wing of the Olean General Hospital, later she served as director of
nursing and V.P. of Nursing. In 2000 Linda was employed by Buffalo Mercy
Hospital and later Highland Hospital Rochester as administrator of the hospital
ICU step-down unit. She returned to the Cuba Memorial Hospital in 2005 where
she was Director of Nursing until her retirement in 2010. Surviving in addition
to her husband are two sons; Aaron Schram of Little Genesee, Brandon (Michelle)
Schram of Allegany; Two grandchildren, Dawson and Ella Schram; Two sisters,
Melinda (Ray) Kennesson of Buffalo, Tracey (Joe) Wallace of Bolivar; Two
brothers, Ed (Jeri) Reisman of Portville, Ferd (Mary) Reisman of Atlanta N.Y.;
Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Bonnie
Neudeck on April 4, 1982. Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc.
Bolivar on Friday February 16, 2018 from 2-4 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be
held on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. Pastor David Herne of the
Heritage AFlame Ministries will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn
