Could you publish something to let people know that Uber does exist in Allegany County? I have been a driver since September, and got 3 rides New Year's Eve. I am finding it hard to get the word out. I currently serve Belmont, Friendship, Scio and Wellsville, but will do other areas if they call me.
Currently, I am on-line Thurs thru Sat from 9pm to 2:30pm. I put my number and email on it so people could contact me if they have a trip and no driver shows up on the app.
A person needing a ride would download the Uber app, request the ride, and if everything is ok and I am online, would show an available driver and the driver would accept the ride. Then the driver would pick them up and take them where they want to go.
I am not always online or available that's why I put my phone number on. A few people have called first to see if I am available. I can pick up and take someone anywhere. For pickups, I would have to be the closest driver.
Something new: I can also do deliveries. If someone ordered lunch or dinner or has a package needing to be picked up, I can also do that.
