Steuben: Clayton Murder Case to be Featured on NBC Dateline

Friday’s episode of NBC’s Dateline will feature the Clayton murder case.  Kelley Stage Clayton was murdered in her Town of Caton home on September 29^th 2015.  Her husband, Thomas Clayton, was found guilty in February of hiring a former employee, Michael Beard, to kill her in exchange for money.  Clayton is set to be sentenced on April 24^th.  Beard was also convicted and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.  A third man, Mark Blandford, pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter and testified at Clayton’s trial in exchange for a plea deal.  A preview of the episode is available at http://www.nbcnews.com/dateline/video/preview-the-house-in-the-woods-903024195561.
