Obituary: Ronald J. Thering, 65

In Memory of Ronald J. Thering, Born on 03/24/1951 in a Buffalo NY and was raised in Lancaster NY, then later in life lived in Allegany County, where he also was laid to rest on 1/13/2017. Ronald Thering life long passion was farming the land which he had great respect for the soil, land and the cattle that lived on the land. He also had cared for a dog named Stella which died before he did and a recent dog named Heidi. Ron was a farmer for life but also had many other talents like cooking, which was like his second job but more of a passion. Ron left behind 2 daughters,2 son-in-laws, and 9 beautiful grandchildren. " Then God said, let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth " (Genesis 1:26). Ronald J. Thering was the son of the late John & Mildred Thering (Moulin), brother of Caroline Basher, the late Margaret Sanders, Jack Thering, Joe Thering, Mary Thering Martin, daughters Amber (David) Edwards, and their children Rayshawn Thering, David Jr., DeAnna, Daevonta Edwards, step daughter Amy (Steven) Mang and their children Cheyenne, Emmett, Colby, Haunz, and Arlus also survived by many nieces and nephews many other friends.
