February 7, 2018

obtained your permit. At this time many permit holders from Allegany County
have failed to recertify as required.

However much you may disagree
with the SAFE Act and its aims, please do not jeopardize your eligibility to
possess a pistol in the future by failing to follow the law. The State
Police are available to answer any questions about the recertification process
you may have.
