The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating the death of Christopher Herron Sr. Detectives report that on May 17th 2025, Christopher was located deceased in the City of Olean. He was found in a marsh/swamp area at the end of Center Street and 4th Ave between Center and Inwood Drive. Last contact with Christopher was made on April 10th 2025 and he was reported missing to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office on April 17th 2025. The Criminal Investigation Bureau is looking for anyone who may have seen or heard from Christopher around the time of his disappearance.
