Allegany County: Medical Transport issues report during EMS week

Agency Spotlight, as EMS Week continues we would like to highlight the work our crews have performed over the last 12 months.

Our agency has responded to 6,070 calls for service.  3,152 have been Advanced Life Support Calls with 2,918 being Basic Life Support Calls.  We have had an average response time (Dispatch to On Scene) of just under 13 minuets for 911 calls and just over 12 minuets for Interfacility Transfer Calls.

We are able to accomplish these response metrics with our over 75 Full and Part Time Employee's,  8 New York State Certified Paramedic Level Ambulances and 7, New York State Certified Emergency Ambulance Service Vehicles (Fly-Cars).

Over the past year we have remained committed to providing the highest level of care and equipment.  Over the past year we have upgraded to LifePak 35, Cardiac Monitors providing us the capability to perform advanced Cardiac Monitoring.  We have also deployed Hamilton T1 Ventilator's in all our Fly-Cars providing an advanced Respiratory Care.
