On January 18, 2021, Amity-based Troopers arrested Lionel C. Carter, 64, of Scio, NY and Michael S. Goodwin, 28, of Elmira, NY for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree.
Troopers investigating the theft of a vehicle from a business on State Route 19 in the town of Willing discovered Carter and Goodwin to be in possession of the vehicle on Noles Road in the town of Scio.
Both were arrested and released with appearance tickets for Scio Town Court, where they are due to appear later this month.
