A Steuben County man faces 82 felony and misdemeanor crimes, 81 of them are felony sex counts. Wednesday afternoon, Bath-based Troopers arrested 40-year-old Scott O. Costly of Bath. He was charged with 70 counts of third-degree criminal sexual act, a class E felony; 11 counts of second-degree criminal sexual act, a class D felony and a single count of endangering the welfare of a child. Costley was detained for court action. According to the State Police blotter, the first crime was reported on November 12, 2019 and occurred in the Town of Bath. State Police have not (yet) released any further information.
