The following is a list of funds made available to the
community by the Wellsville Lions Club in the month of April.
4/3/19: $100 donation to the Wellsville Music Theater for
their spring musical from the Youth Activities committee.
4/15/19: $367.88 payment to WCS Video Services to pay for
the cost to video the show from the Show committee.
4/15/19: $400 payment to Community of Wellsville Art
Scholarship to pay for scenery for the show from the Show committee.
4/15/19: $400 donation to Vision Development of WNY for
assistance with vision therapy from the Sight Conservation committee.
4/15/19: $300 donation to WJQZ-WLSV for the kids’ fishing
derby from the Youth Activities committee.
4/30/19: $1,950 payment to the American Diabetes Association
for tuition to send three children with diabetes to summer camp from the
Diabetes Awareness committee.
4/30/19: $3,000 payment to TIAA Account #29850M43 for
personal loan for vision therapy from the Sight Conservation committee.
4/30/19: $500 payment to Molly Cole for scholarship payment
2 of 2 from the Scholarship committee.
A $1,500 donation from Major Projects was made to the
Wellsville Montessori School to help upgrade the building for air conditioning.
Representing the Lions Club, Mike Raptis recently presented
a $1,500 check to the Wellsville Montessori School. Receiving the donation are
Elice Slavin and Judy Cole, both employees at WMS. The Wellsville Montessori
School has been serving the Wellsville community since 1982 offering
pre-school, before and after school and summer daycare programs. We are
extremely grateful to the Lions Club and the Wellsville community for their
continued support of our programs.
