Wellsville Police arrested a 17-year-old Wellsville youth, charging him with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Alcohol by person under 21 years of age. Wellsville police also arrested Christopher D. Vargas, age 19 of Wellsville, charging him with Possession of Alcohol by person under 21 years of age. The charges stem from an incident that took place on the Lagoon Road in Wellsville. The youth and Vargas were processed, issued appearance tickets and released to a third party. The youth and Vargas are due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on September 11th at 4:30 p.m.
