Born on June 29, 1938, in El Paso, Texas he was a son of
Florencio E. and Hazel L. Voss Pellon.
On June 6, 1988, in Portland, Oregon he married the former Lona L.
Hadden who survives.
Jay served in the United States Army from 1954-1975. He then was an over the road truck driver for
many years, he last drove for JR Schugel Trucking prior to his retirement in
2006.
He enjoyed flying model airplanes and had multiple
collections.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Jayson
Wade of Las Vegas, Nevada, Samantha Wade of Valencia, Santa Clarita, California
and Lisa (Philip Botens) Taylor of Cuba, New York; 7 grandchildren, 10 great
grandchildren; two sisters, Cathy Pellon, Lousie Pellon and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. A family Memorial gathering celebrating his
life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under
direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc.,
Cuba.
