Letter of Integrity for Sheriff Whitney

I am a Chaplain for the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and for several years I have had the opportunity to meet with and converse with Sheriff Whitney at our monthly meetings, as well as at the Triad meetings.  I appreciate the open door he gives us, and that he sees the value of the Chaplain’s program. I have always found him to be professional, yet at the same time personable.  He is a conscientious person, and has been since our high school days at Angelica.

I believe he serves the department and our county very well, providing competent leadership.  He and Undersheriff Monroe work very well together and make a great team.  I respect and appreciate them both very much.
