The program will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:30 p.m., at The Andover and Allegany County History Center, 11 East Greenwood Street, Andover, NY, 14806. The program is free and open to the public.
A noted historic preservationist, Ms. Howk will discuss establishing historic districts and the procedure for listing buildings on the State and National Registers of Historic Places, with particular relevance for towns and villages in western New York. The program will include slides and discussion, and Ms. Howk will be available to answer questions.
