Press Release:
Tom Reed for Congress announced today that it enters the election year with more than $1 million in the bank and record engagement from volunteers.
“We are grateful to the hundreds of fellow New Yorkers who have placed their trust in us and invested their hard-earned money in our campaign,” said Tom Reed. “I am committed to bringing people together to solve the problems facing our communities and will continue to fight for hardworking families across our district. We are proud of the work we did in 2017 with the passage of the most comprehensive tax reforms in a generation, and we look forward to a 2018 of higher paychecks, more jobs, competitive businesses, and a brighter future for our families.”
The Reed campaign has raised a total of $1,788,203 to date for this election cycle and has $1,025,034 cash on hand.
“This year’s record-breaking fundraising nu mbers and grassroots engagement with the campaign continue to show strong support for Tom’s common-sense agenda,” said Nicholas Weinstein, Campaign Manager for Tom Reed for Congress. “Tom is setting aside differences and unifying people to get things done for the hardworking families of the Southern Tier, Finger Lakes and Western New York. While our opponents fight to take the most extreme liberal position on the issues, we are taking nothing for granted and have made early investments in our campaign infrastructure to earn the support of every voter. With an engaged grassroots base and four times as much cash on hand as all nine of our opponents combined, we are well positioned for success in November.”
