On Sunday at around 10:11 p.m., State Police from SP Geneseo said they observed a Ford Focus driving southbound on I-390, town of Groveland, failing maintain its lane by repeatedly driving onto the shoulder. The vehicle was also allegedly driving 79 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Trevor A. Cox, age 32, of Belfast. Cox allegedly showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and submitted to a breath test with a result of .13 BAC. He was charged with misdemeanor DWI and speeding. He is scheduled to appear before the Groveland Town Court on 02/21/2018 at 6:00 p.m.Monday, February 12, 2018
