ALFRED, NY – Alfred Village Police Chief Paul Griffith reports that a power pole on State Route 244 (near Steuben Trust) in Alfred, fell last night in the 7:00 p.m. hour, landing on a car. Police said the two occupants of the car were not injured, however the car was ruined. There is a power outage in parts of Alfred this morning.
