Voters on proposed constiutional convention - 'Hell NO'

Voters in New York overwhelmingly rejected the idea of holding a constitutional convention. More than 77% of voters said no to the proposal. 80% of Allegany County voters said no. Only 824 voters in the county said yes. By a nearly 3-1 margin, voters statewide approved a proposal that would strip corrupt politicians from receiving a state pension. In Allegany County, the vote was 7,671 to 1,743. And voters barely approved the Forest Preserve Land Bank amendment. In Allegany County, 53% of voters said yes.
