Tuesday morning at 6:30 a.m., Troopers responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of State Hwy 16 and Stranburg Ave in the Town of Delevan. Further investigation revealed that the 2005 Mack dump truck operated by a 70-year-old male was traveling southbound on State Hwy 16. The 2014 Chevrolet Traverse operated by Lisa L. Toland, 56 of Delevan, NY was turning left off of Stranburg Ave to head northbound onto State Hwy 16 and did so in the path of the dump truck causing a T-bone collision. Toland was deceased at the scene. The dump truck operator was taken to ECMC for non-life threatening injuries.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Collision Reconstruction Unit also assisted with this collision.
