Bolivar woman, others charged with heroin possession after Wyoming County crash

Four people were arrested following a one car motor vehicle accident on Silver Lake Road in the Town of Covington. Jessica L. Sprague was driving a 2013 Ford F150 southbound on Silver Lake Road when she failed to negotiate the intersection with Old State Road.  Sprague drove the vehicle off the roadway and down a steep thirty foot embankment where the vehicle collided with the ground and trees.  A passenger in Sprague’s vehicle suffered two broken ribs from the accident.
Deputies said in a press release that Sprague “performed poorly” on standardized field sobriety testing and she was taken into custody for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  Sprague was also found to have only a learner’s permit which was suspended.  Heroin, Hydrocodone, and Marihuana were all allegedly located at the scene.  A NYS certified Drug Recognition Expert from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office performed a drug influence evaluation on Sprague and found her to be allegedly impaired by multiple drug categories.  The vehicle occupants were charged as follows:
