While it's not a done deal, odds are increasing that Taco Bell will locate in Hornell. The proposed site is 41 North Main Street, the former Friendly's restaurant. Taco Bell, if approved, would demolish the old building and construct a new facility. Mayor Hogan would like to hold a Planning & Development Committee meeting on Tuesday, August 22 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss the proposed Taco Bell. At 7 p.m. that same day, The Hornell Planning Board will review the site plan. If that Board approves the project, the next step is securing a demolition permit.
