Arrests made at Watkins Glen race weekend - Shinglehouse man faces charge
The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office reports three arrests
made during the annual NASCAR weekend at Watkins Glen International. On
Wednesday August 2 James Dizoglio, 53, of Berlin, New Hampshire was arrested
and charged with ticket reseller violation, an unclassified misdemeanor and ticket
speculating, a violation, following an undercover operation where Dizoglio allegedly
offered to sell tickets to the NASCAR race without having the proper licensing.
Dizoglio was arraigned in the Town of Dix court where he pled guilty to a
lesser charge of disorderly conduct and agreed to pay a fine of $125 with a
$125 surcharge as well as a $2,000 forfeiture.
On Thursday August 3
Dustin Small, 32, Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with
Driving while ability impaired after being involved in a property damage motor
vehicle accident at the track. He was issued a ticket to appear in the Town of
Dix court on August 18th.
On Friday August 4th
Nathan Herman 27 of Leroy, NY was arrested and charged for Petit Larceny after
allegedly stealing a cooler containing a cell phone. Herman was issued an
appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Dix Court on August 11th.
