Wyoming County Deputies make Meth bust


Brandie SCHUMACHER, 36 of Wayne County, was arrested April 1st following a traffic stop by Wyoming County Deputies on State Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon. SCHUMACHER was stopped for speeding 56 MPH in a Speed Zone of 35 MPH. Deputies said SCHUMACKER failed roadside field tests and was arrested for Driving While Impaired by Drugs. Deputies allegedly discovered over a gram of Methamphetamine, a scale, a smoking pipe, two other kinds of pills which were a controlled substance, and other drug paraphernalia inside her vehicle. SCHUMACHER was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class C Felony), 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, 2 counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, Driving While Impaired by Drugs (all Misdemeanors), and Speed in Zone. SCHUMACHER was arraigned in the Town of Sheldon Court and committed to the Wyoming County Jail on $50,000 cash bail. She is due back in court on 04/10/2017. New York State Police assisted with the roadside investigation.
