Following a traffic stop on Chestnut Street in the Village of Andover on April 21, 2017, the Andover Police Department arrested Sean L. Sanders 36, of Williamson NY. Sean was charged with DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd degree and other traffic violations. Sean is due back in Andover Village Court on May 8, 2017.
A passenger in the vehicle, John C. Keating 34, of Rochester NY, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Andover Village Court on May 8, 2017.
The Andover Police Department was assisted by the Allegany County Sheriff's Department, New York State Police and the New York State Police K-9 unit.
