Man runs from Wyoming Co. deputies, gets arrested


On Monday, Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office responded to Dutton Road, Town of Gainesville, after receiving a call about a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, the responding Deputy was informed the male subject had fled on foot.  Deputy Sampson located the male, Ervin Delude SR. 45, of Gainesville, walking North on nearby railroad tracks. Deputy Sampson along with a New York State Trooper approached Delude. After speaking to Delude for several minutes, Delude attempted to run. A foot pursuit ended with Delude being captured. Delude was charged with two felonies, Criminal Contempt 1st and Aggravated Family Offense, a misdemeanor charge of Resisting Arrest and a Disorderly Conduct charge, which is a violation. Delude was remanded to Wyoming County Jail with no bail due to numerous previous felony convictions. Deludes case will further be heard at a later date.
