Two rear seat passengers, who were not restrained, ages 16 &17, were forcefully ejected from the vehicle. O'Callaghan said the driver was injured as were three 17-year-old occupants and a 16-year-old occupant. The most seriously injured was a 16-year-old ejected occupant, who was flown from the scene by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. The injury was described as serious but not life-threatening. The others injured were taken by ambulance to Olean General. Troopers said all the occupants were from Olean. State police said they would not release the names of the occupants based on age. Several vehicle and traffic law tickets are pending.
