Wellsville Police Blotter

Date: Sunday April 23, 2017
Wellsville Police arrested Tyler M. Johannes, age 24 of Alfred Station, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more and Improper or Unsafe Turn without Signal.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on West Fassett Street in the Village.  Johannes was processed issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party.  Johannes is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 2nd at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Mavrick A. Glover, age 19 of Wellsville, charging him with Menacing a Police Officer or Peace Officer (Class D Felony), Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th (Class E Felony) and Resisting Arrest.  The charges stem from an incident that took place on East Hanover Street in the Village.  Glover was processed and arraigned before Town of Willing Judge Guiney.  Glover was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 property bond.  Glover is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 25th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested an 11-year-old Wellsville youth charging him with Petit Larceny.  The charge stems from an incident that took place at Giant Food Mart in Wellsville.  The youth was petitioned to the Allegany County Probation department for further action.

Wellsville Police arrested Eugenio N. Charles III, age 29 of Whitesville, on a Town of Independence Arrest Warrant.  Charles was turned over to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department and was due to be arraigned in the Town of Independence Court.
