Oswayo man jailed on threat charge

Coudersport-based state police report the arrest of Michael A. Perkins, 63, of Oswayo. He was charged with one count of making terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize another person. He was arraigned by District Judge Kari McCleaft at about 8:25 p.m. Saturday. Perkins was unable to post $20,000 and was remanded to the Potter County Jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 1.
